ELC eagles leadership conference

ELC Sabah 2012 - SALT AND LIGHT...LEADING FOR CHANGE

June 28-30, 2012 @ All Saints' Cathedral, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

"You never know how timely your messages have been to us. You have been such an encouragement to us and have addressed some critical issues for our Anglican diocese."
"Peter and Geri Scazzero's emotionally healthy spirituality is so much needed for me in my life and ministry. This is truly a significant moment"
"John's session on managing energy has helped me to become a better leader."
"Peter Chao's final challenge to be salt and light, by having integrity, by excelling in what I do and being interested in life will remain with me for a long time."
"Michael's powerful message on leading with passion is truly a world class sermon, not only did he leave us in stitches with his humor but more importantly he preached with such clarity: having a desire to serve, being single-minded, and being prepared to sacrifice!"
"Edward Ong's remarkable story of courage and passion in transforming Sutera Harbor has challenged me to do the same in my church"

453 participants from 60 churches attended ELC 2012 Sabah on "Salt and Light...Leading Change." They came from Indonesia, West Malaysia, Singapore, and even as far as Nigeria. During the three days, we saw God doing a deep work. We thank God for your prayer and support. Many have been transformed inside out. Continue to pray that these leaders will take what they learned to transform their families, work, ministries, and churches.

What was most amazing was the great worship led by a group of highly energetic, "dancing" young vicars. The conference was organized with such clock-work efficiency and effectiveness, and so much joy, which made one of our Singaporean participants to remark that there was definitely leadership at work for this conference.

We are truly grateful to Bishop Albert Vun and the Anglican Diocese for this opportunity of partnership. We give God all the glory.
