What is in an ELDP Program?

The program is based on the Eagles 4-P Leadership Model. Participants are expected to complete all the following aspects over a three-year period:

  1. Five Leadership Retreats

The retreats are held once every six months. Visit ELDP Curriculum/Dates for the schedule.

    • Retreat 1: Person, Perspective, Partnership, and Performance
    • Retreat 2: Change, Conflict, and Politics
    • Retreat 3: Heart, Soul, and Mind
    • Retreat 4: Coaching, Community, and Succession Planning
    • Retreat 5: Values, Competencies, and Decision-Making

  2. One Eagles Leadership Conference

The emerging leader is encouraged to attend one Eagles Leadership Conference (ELC) held once every two years focusing on different themes each year.

    • ELC 2009 - Performance of the Leader
    • ELC 2011 - Person of the Leader
    • ELC 2013 - Partnership of the Leader

  3. A Mentoring Process

Every participant will be assigned a senior, highly respected leader in the region during the three-year period as well as have access to a specially appointed group of senior leaders in ministry and the marketplace. This mentoring process will provide mutual encouragement, support and counsel towards personal development and kingdom effectiveness.

A Mentor-At-Large will also travel to the different countries to provide regular guidance to each participant.

  4. Specific Leadership Projects

Every participant is required to work on a project based on the learning from the program to impact their organizations and society.
